Casares is a magical beautiful white village with whitewashed house climbing the steep mountain hill. Small narrow streets leading up to the ruins on the top of the hill from where you have amazingly beautiful views. Green rolling hills, dramatic mountains and the mediterranean ocean meeting the atlantic sea. Gibraltar and North african mountains towering up in the horizon.

But there is also much to see and do; Hiking trails, protected birds, ruins and relics from both the Romans, the Arabs and the Phoenician ships, the healing sulfur baths built by Caesar himself who also gave his name to the village. The small cheese factory that produces excellent cheeses from the milk of local sheep and goats. They also sell other local delicacies. In less than 15 minutes you have both beach and golf courses.
